Atlas Copco Appoints Henrik Elmin President of Industrial Technique Business Area

Atlas Copco has appointed Henrik Elmin as President of the Industrial Technique business area, starting May 1, 2017. He is currently President of the Industrial Technique Service division in the same business area. Henrik Elmin will be a member of Atlas Copco’s Group Management.

“Henrik’s broad business experience and successful leadership, as well as his vision for the business, make him an ideal candidate for this new role,” said Ronnie Leten, Atlas Copco’s President and CEO.

Henrik Elmin started his Atlas Copco career in 2007 as General Manager for Atlas Copco Tools Customer Center Nordic in the Industrial Technique business area. In 2012, he was appointed President of the General Industry Tools and Assembly Systems division. He started his current position in 2015.

Henrik Elmin, born 1970, is a Swedish citizen. His education includes a M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Lund Institute of Technology, Sweden, and an MBA from INSEAD, France.

Henrik Elmin will be based in Stockholm, Sweden. He succeeds Mats Rahmström, who takes over as President and CEO of the Atlas Copco Group on April 27, 2017.

Elliott Group, a wholly owned subsidiary of EBARA CORPORATION, announced that it has won an order to supply cryogenic rotating equipment for the Port Arthur LNG Phase 1 project in Jefferson County, Texas. Elliott will supply cryogenic pumps, expanders, boil-off gas (BOG) compressors, and end flash gas (EFG) compressors for the project, which is being developed by Sempra Infrastructure.
