ATEX Certification for Caprari´s Sewage Pumps
CAPRARI has obtained the ATEX certification for the complete range of electric sewage pumps in the explosion-proof version.
Having successfully completed the audit requested by the EU Directive 94/9/EC, effective 1 July 1st 2003, all electric pumps in the explosion-proof version comply with the new Directive, and then are certified ATEX II 2G EExd IIB T4. Products meant for use in potentially explosive atmospheres (usually referred as explosion-proof) may, given their use in dangerous locations, seriously endanger the health and safety of persons if they are improperly manufactured and/or installed.
Accordingly, for manufacturers it is fundamental that these products are handled with extreme care and professionalism at each and every stage, from design to production, from the time of the quotation right through to after-sales support. Achieving ATEX certification in accordance to the new EU Directive, which requires periodic surveillance of the quality system for the administration and production by a Notified Body, proves once again the reliability of the company and the attention that Caprari gives to innovation and protection of the environment.
