Armstrong Pumps Appoints David McNamee as Value Stream Manager

Armstrong Pumps, a global supplier of fluid flow equipment for residential, commercial and industrial applications, is pleased to announce the appointment of David McNamee as Value Stream Manager- Heat Exchangers, Expansion Tanks and Vortex.

David graduated with a B.Eng degree in Industrial Engineering from Ryerson Polytechnical University, and obtained his P.Eng designation in 2000.

Prior to joining Armstrong, he worked for various companies including Partnertech (Atlanta) as Senior Manufacturing Engineer/Quality Manager and Xerox Ltd (Mississauga) as Manufacturing Engineer/ Production Team Leader. Through his experience at Partnertech and Xerox, David has gained much knowledge in Lean Manufacturing.

David's responsibilities within Armstrong will include all aspects of a Lean Manufacturing Value Stream including production, manufacturing engineering, product engineering and quality.

Armstrong is a leading global supplier of quality HVAC and Fluid Flow equipment for residential, commercial and industrial applications. Established in 1934, the company maintains eight manufacturing facilities on three continents and serves customers in over 50 countries.

The position was officially passed on during the BPMA’s Annual General Meeting and follows the two-year term in office by the previous President, Dale Croker, Managing Director of KSB UK.
