Armstrong Pumps, a global supplier of fluid flow equipment for residential, commercial and industrial applications, is pleased to announce the the following appointments:

Joanne SchneiderAppointment of Joanne Schneider as Parts Technologist

Joanne is a graduate of the Building Engineering program at Concordia University. In addition, she has a degree in Construction Engineering Technology from Conestoga College. Joanne’s most recent industry experience was with an HVAC Consulting Engineering firm where she worked in building design.

Joanne will be responsible for streamlining the parts sales process, including the Armstrong replacement parts catalogue, ACE online, and Armstrong’s web site.

Steve CuthbertsonAppointment of Steve Cuthbertson as Manager – Distribution Development

Steve brings over 20 years experience in the HVAC industry – most recently as Director of Sales and Service Canada with Lennox International, a multinational with HVAC manufacturing, wholesale and contracting divisions. Prior to Lennox, he was President of A+ Heating and Air Conditioning Ltd., a multi-branch contractor.

Steve holds a BSc. from the University of Toronto and is currently completing the last module of his MBA from the International Kellogg (Northwestern, Chicago) and Shulich (York, Toronto) program. He is a licensed Refrigeration Mechanic, complete with inter-provincial status.

Steve’s primary focus will be North American distribution across all clusters. Additionally, he will be working on special projects, including the UK service operations. Steve will be based in our head office in Toronto.

Armstrong is a leading global supplier of quality HVAC and Fluid Flow equipment for residential, commercial and industrial applications. Established in 1934, the company maintains four manufacturing facilities on two continents.

VSX Announces Matthias Siegel as New Managing Director

After more than 30 years, Hanns-Henrik Vogel and Jens-Uwe Vogel, founders of the software company VSX – VOGEL SOFTWARE GmbH, hand over the management of the company to Matthias Siegel, who will take over as Managing Director on April 1, 2024. The new owner Everfield also welcomes this decision and is actively involved in supporting Matthias with the resources and guidance to ensure a good and successful start.
