Armstrong Pumps, a global supplier of fluid flow equipment for residential, commercial and industrial applications, is pleased to announce the appointment of Robert Adamsz as Marketing Engineer within the Hydronics division and the appointment of Craig Toth as Purchasing Manager for Armstrong Pumps Inc.

Robert Adamsz (Photo: Armstrong)Robert graduated in 1995 with a B.Sc. degree in Engineering from the Polytechnical University of Timisoara in Romania, and obtained his P.Eng designation in 2003. Prior to joining Armstrong, he worked for various companies including Magna International as Project Coordinator and MMM - Marshall Macklin Monaghan as Project Engineer. Robert has extensive involvement in various hydronic, HVAC and piping projects for small residential systems, commercial applications (such as Pearson International Airport) and industrial projects within the Automotive and Petrochemical industries.

As a member of the Hydronics team, Robert will lead several new product development projects that complement Armstrong's popular line of Hydronic system components.

Craig Toth (Photo: Armstrong)Craig comes to Armstrong with 20 years of experience in global sourcing, commodity management, negotiation, value engineering and new product development.

Prior to Armstrong, Craig worked in various procurement management positions at Ferro Corp., BOC Edwards and Occidental Chemical.

Craig holds a B.Sc. degree (M.I.S. major) as well as an A.A.S. degree (Metallurgy major). He is also a member of ISM (Institute for Supply Management) and APICS.

With his creativity and his instinct for attention-grabbing campaigns, as well as his openness to new communication channels and technologies, he has contributed significantly to the development and success of the brand and the company. Kämpf symbolically passed the well-known U3K pump on as a baton to his successor Gunnar Wippersteg.

BPMA Welcomes its New President

Lee Tebbatt, Managing Director of Wilo UK has been announced as the new President of the British Pump Manufacturers Association (BPMA), following a two-year tenure in the role of Vice President. The position was officially passed on during the BPMA’s Annual General Meeting and follows the two-year term in office by the previous President, Dale Croker, Managing Director of KSB UK.
