Armstrong Moves Forward with New Faces
Armstrong Pumps, a global supplier of fluid flow equipment for residential, commercial and industrial applications, is pleased to announce personnel changes to the following positions:
Bruce Van Nus as Managing Director – Solution Supply
Bruce brings many years of solid experience and accomplishments – most recently as President, Dassault Systemes Inc., a multi-national solution supply software services company. Prior to Dassault, he was Executive Director – Operations with GE Glegg Water Technologies. In addition, he spent many years with Bombardier in varying management positions, including Vice President.
Bruce is a graduate mechanical engineer with a B.Sc (Hons) and an M.Sc. Eng. From Queens University.
Bruce will be a member of the Leadership Board. His first assignment is in the U.K. leading the integration team of Armstrong Holden Brooke Pullen on a full time basis. Following this, he will be based in Toronto at Head Office.
David Elliott as Managing Director – Global Operations
Dave brings many years of solid experience and accomplishments most recently as General Manager at Stackpole Limited, a multi-national automotive component manufacturer. Prior to Stackpole, he spent many years with Chrysler in varying management positions around the world. He is a graduate mechanical engineer.
Dave will be a member of the Leadership Board and will have overall responsibility for the strategic operations functions and teams in all the Armstrong companies.He will be based in Toronto at Head Office.
Kymberlee Ide as Communications Specialist
A psychology graduate with certification in direct marketing, Kymberlee comes to Armstrong from Moeller Electric where she held the position of Marketing Communications Specialist. Prior to that, she worked for many years with CIBC in various roles, including that of Senior Communications Coordinator in the Amicus division of CIBC, (US & Canada).
Kymberlee will be responsible for the look and feel of Armstrong’s printed and electronic communications including the web site, advertising copy, newsletters, and various projects. She will also play an active role in press relations.
Pat Cusack as Manager – Technical Integration Systems
Pat will lead the Engineering services function within Armstrong. Directly reporting to him will be the TIS and pump engineering departments. He will assume a supervisory role in all product development projects and engineering standards within the firm.
Pat has a Masters degree in Engineering and comes to Armstrong with 15 years of experience with General Electric and Fasco Motors.
AlekSandra Wiltshire as Manager – Knowledge Projects
Alek has been involved in the communications field for over a decade. She began her career with Armstrong as a Communications Specialist – Strategic Projects.
Today she is responsible for managing a two-pronged e-learning program that addresses continuous learning inside of the Armstrong group of companies and most importantly, customer-learning outside the organization.
This e-learning program is a cornerstone of the strategic direction the company is taking. It is intricately tied to advancing brand values and re-thinking the nature of business in the 21st century where integrated technology systems are the backbone for evolving learning organizations.
