The Aqualoop system consists of a few modular components to fit any situation that can be easily assembled as required:

Pre-filter and supporting medium

Aqualoop pre-filter and Aqualoop support medium provide a consistent improvement in the quality of organically contaminated water such as grey water from households. This is achieved by biological degradation and the automatic extraction of bottom sediment and floating debris from the common tank.


The patented Aqualoop C-MEM membranes are at the core of the water treatment process. The membranes´ special hollow fibres reliably filter bacteria and virus.

Their special design and arrangement ensures a long service life of up to 10 years with minimal maintenance. Aqualoop can recycle and improve water quality without chemical additives such as chlorine, which is proven hazardous to health. This is equally good for the environment and for your wallet.

Membrane station with system controller

The Aqualoop membrane station is also mounted in the same tank. The membrane station includes a platform for mounting of the membranes. Permeate pump, back-flushing pump, back-flushing tank and blower connection are fully integrated. The modular Aqualoop membrane station can be equipped with up to six membranes, depending on the required amount of water to be recycled. Multiple membrane stations can be used in parallel for even larger requirements.

Each membrane station contains a fully automatic system control for operating and monitoring the pump and blower. The blower simultaneously fulfils the job of cleaning the membrane and supplying necessary oxygenation to the bioreactor.


The Aqualoop pre-filter and Aqualoop membrane station can be integrated in almost any tank, regardless of whether it is situated indoors or outdoors. By using an existing tank, the transportation costs for delivering the Aqualoop technology are very low.

Domestic water system

The recycled water is supplied back into the house via the Rainmaster pump and control unit for uses such as toilet flushing, washing machine filling or irrigation.

With Aqualoop water recycling Intewa offers a sophisticated and reliable system which can save more than 50 % of water consumption in hotels, camping sites, commercial buildings and industrial complexes, public buildings and private homes.
