The Hydraulic Institute developed the field-proven PSO course for use by companies throughout the world to provide a greater understanding of why efficient pump systems are important and how system optimization increases reliability, uptime, energy savings and overall profitability. This curriculum also covers life-cycle cost analysis and assists companies like Gasco in developing a pump system assessment process.
“The PSO training from the Hydraulic Institute exceeded my expectations, offering a vast amount of information on effective optimization techniques in pump systems, especially for a one day course,” notes Balamurugan Ramakrishnan, PSO course participant from the GASCO plant. “Excellent course material, practical exercises and a very enthusiastic and knowledgeable facilitator that opened communications among participants to clarify information made the course a very valuable experience.”
Ambeone DMCC/Marketway Arabia will continue to bring the PSO course to other critical industries within the Middle East and other countries over the next several years. Additionally, this leading training organization will be launching a new course entitled “How to Manage a Pump System Assessment Process” along with the Hydraulic Institute.
Mark Sullivan, Director, Education and Marketing, Hydraulic Institute notes, “Our training partnership with Ambeone DMCC/Marketway Arabia creates new opportunities in bringing best-in-class engineering training to important global companies like GASCO. The PSO course has proved to be a valuable first step in improving energy savings throughout the world.”
