AESSEAL® opens subsidiary in India

Aesseal®, designer and manufacturer of seals and support systems, has taken a strategic decision to set-up a new branch in Pune, India.

The new branch will be headed by Mr. A.C. Punde who has an extensive background in the mechanical seal industry. The primary function of Aesseal® India PVT, LTD. is to extend the AES global design and IT network. Other functions of the facility will be to support Indian pump manufacturers and Aesseal® branches and subsidiaries in Asia on all mechanical seal related issues.

Mr. Punde officially started working for Aesseal® on the 1st of October 2001 and has spent six months setting up facilities for the new branch. A new office has now been opened in the suburbs of Pune City on the Hadapsar Industrial Estate. Its design and test facilities will allow further expansion of the Aesseal® product range. Alan Roddis and Jonathan Wilkinson have also become Directors of the new company.
