ABS acquires Service Company in the US

ABS Pumps Strengthens its Position within the Service Area in the US.

ABS Pumps Inc. of Meriden, USA, strengthens its position within the Spares, Service & Rental Area through the acquisition of Odell´s Pump & Motor Service.

Odell´s Pump & Motor was started in 1944 and has maintained an excellent reputation in the marketplace. The company has 6 fully equipped service vehicles on call 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, ready to handle routine and emergency repairs.

The acquisition will also improve ABS´ sales organisation in Pittsburg, California, as the Odell´s and the ABS offices merge. With a larger facility and and a total of 20 employees, the acquisition of Odell´s Pump & Motor substantially strengthens and expands ABS´ sales presence and service capabilities in the western region of the US.

The acquisition took place in July 2001.
