$3.8 Billion Ultrapure Water Market in 2017

GEA has supplied six GEA biosolids Decanter prime 8000 dewatering decanters for the West Delta Wastewater Treatment Plant in Egypt. According to the Guinness Book of Records, this makes it the largest in the world in terms of size and treatment capacity.

When building a new facility to develop semiconductors in Brisbane, Australia, Silanna Semiconductor needed a reliable supply of ultrapure water (UPW). Using a multi-stage solution from Xylem, the semiconductor manufacturer can now convert 70% of readily available municipal water into Type E-1 ultrapure water. The solution minimizes maintenance and downtime, reduces chemical use, and increases water efficiency.
