1st Place in “The Best Annual Reports of 2005” Competition
Pfeiffer Vacuum took first place in the TecDAX segment in manager magazin’s prestigious rankings of the best annual reports.
The competition ranks the annual reports from DAX, MDAX, SDAX, TecDAX and STOXX companies in the categories of content, financial communication, visual appearance and language. Chief Executive Officer Wolfgang Dondorf accepted the award at ceremonies in the Arabella Sheraton Hotel in Frankfurt. “For years, our annual reports have been numbering among the top five – and this year we’ve succeeded in making it all the way to the top. With the exception of the graphic design concept and printing, our annual report is produced inhouse by a seasoned team – we’re especially proud of that.”
The motto of this year’s annual report was “Vacuum is nothing, but everything to us.” The jury gave especially high marks to the annual report’s clear language, its cogent portrayal of the complex issue of vacuum, as well as to the authenticity of all statements.
