Atlas Copco has acquired FITEC S.A.S., a French distributor of compressors. The company is specialized in the sales and service of rotary screw compressors and ancillary equipment and mainly sells to small and medium-sized industries.

FITEC is a privately owned company and is based in Tarnos close to Bayonne in the Southwest of France. The company has 8 employees.

“This acquisition is an opportunity to strengthen our presence in the Southwest area of France" said Vagner Rego, Business Area President Compressor Technique.

The purchase price is not disclosed. The acquired company will become part of the service division within the Compressor Technique Business Area.
