Klaus Stahlmann Leaves Sulzer

Klaus Stahlmann, CEO of Sulzer, informed the Sulzer Board of Directors that he will resign from his position. After leading the company for over three years, Stahlmann wants to pursue other opportunities outside Sulzer.

Under Klaus Stahlmann s leadership, Sulzer took targeted measures to transform into a market-oriented, globally operating company. With the "Sulzer Full Potential" programme underway, Sulzer is set to become a leading equipment and service provider in its key markets oil and gas, power, and water.

The Board of Directors has acknowledged Mr Stahlmann’s intention and the recruiting process for a new Chief Executive Officer is underway. Further developments will be announced in due course.
