Syrinix Appoints New Chairman

Syrinix has announced the appointment of Dr Ian Buckley-Golder as Non-Executive Chairman of the company.

A physicist by background, Dr Buckley-Golder has considerable experience of growing advanced, technology-based businesses internationally including into the USA, EU and Japan, in a range of market sectors, including electronics, semiconductors, sensors, medical technology and biotechnology. Alongside that, he has specific expertise in terms of Board Governance and the utilisation of intellectual property-based companies, whether Main List, AIM or Venture Capital funded. Dr Buckley-Golder is currently also Chairman of Pettra and Cascade Fund Management and a non-executive director at Oxsensis, the Rainbow Seed Fund and Warwick Ventures.

James Dunning also added his thanks to former Chairman John Polden for the critical role he has played in chairing the company since 2009. John Polden will continue to be involved with Syrinix as a non-executive director.

As announced, his predecessor Dr Klaus Endress withdrew from active involvement in the company at the end of 2023. He remains chairman of the Endress Family Council.

VSX Announces Matthias Siegel as New Managing Director

After more than 30 years, Hanns-Henrik Vogel and Jens-Uwe Vogel, founders of the software company VSX – VOGEL SOFTWARE GmbH, hand over the management of the company to Matthias Siegel, who will take over as Managing Director on April 1, 2024. The new owner Everfield also welcomes this decision and is actively involved in supporting Matthias with the resources and guidance to ensure a good and successful start.
