Wilo USA Releases New Stratos Giga Pump Series
Wilo USA has released Stratos Giga, a high-efficiency, single-stage inline centrifugal pump.
Stratos Giga is a space-saving inline circulator with ECM technology that is designed for use in hot water heating systems, air conditioning, closed cooling circuits and industrial process systems. The redesigned hydraulics and permanent magnet motor can achieve better than IE4 efficiencies, reducing motor losses by over 50% compared to NEMA Premium Efficient (IE2).
“Stratos Giga’s highly efficient EC motor, its compact design that allows it to fit in tight spaces and other innovative features make this a significant addition to the Wilo product line,” said David Bortolon, Director of Marketing, Wilo USA. “We received very positive feedback from attendees of the 2013 International Air-Conditioning, Heating, Refrigerating (AHR) Exposition where this debuted.”

- Integrated motor and drive;
- Red button technology and display for easy operation;
- Control range is up to three times as high for conventional electronically controlled pumps;
- Available in glanded construction, mechanical shaft seal and flanged connections
