Voith Hydro: Kirsten Lange Appointed As New Member of the Board of Management
As of September 01, 2012, Kirsten Lange is appointed as new Member of the Management Board of Voith Hydro, the hydro power division of Voith.
She is responsible for Business Development, which also includes the areas of After Market Business, Automation and Plant Engineering.
Kirsten Lange studied journalism and business administration at LMU Munich. She has also successfully completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the prestigious INSEAD Business School in France.
From 1990 she worked for the Boston Consulting Group in Munich, spending long periods doing consultancy work in countries such as Brazil, Russia and the USA. At the end of the Nineties she then spent two years abroad in Shanghai, China. Ms. Lange has worked with more than one hundred companies, mainly from the sectors of machine and plant construction and process industries, addressing issues relating to strategy development, operational improvements, organizational adjustments and implementation management. As partner and manager she was responsible for BCG’s global paper industry business and also advised leading customers in power plant construction.
