IPVS 2011 & Conference

5th in its series since its launch in 2007, IPVS is once again held under the Patronage of Indian Pump Manufacturers Association, Europe Pump Manufactures Association, and Holland Pump Groupen with active support from Ministry of Industries and Mines- Govt. of Gujarat, India.

With its fourth successive hosting, IPVS - organized by Orbitz Exhibitions Pvt. Ltd. - has clearly emerged as India’s biggest event for Industrial Pumps, Valves and Systems and one of the biggest in Asia. After having been credited as the first of its kind in India, it has since inception, provided the much needed boost for growth of the sectors it represents as it showcases advanced technologies in those categories.

IPVS 2010 was larger in terms of exhibitor participations as well as visitor and buyer delegations. It had delegates from India and abroad comprising professionals from diverse sectors like Power (DEWA, State and Private Power Boards), Oil Exploration (IOC, BP, Reliance), Atomic Eenergy (BARC, DCNS etc), Energy resources, Fertilizers, Health & Hygiene products and the like.

Riding on the success of its predecessors, IPVS 2011 will be bigger, more incisive and impressive. Many of its earlier exhibitors have booked larger stands so as to display their product innovations and technologies. Around 75% of the exhibitors booked this year has opted for creating their own customized stands (custom stands starts from 36 Sq M) so as to attract more and more visitor flow during the exhibition. At the half way mark, IPVS 2011 have confirmed over 100 exhibitors comprising from Europe, Far East, Indian sub Continents and Oceania. Major manufactures of Industrial Pumps and Valves are all set to enthrall visitors during IPVS this year like KSB Pumps, Kirloskar Brothers, Weir, Crompton Greaves, Netzsch, SPX, Roto Pumps, Fivebro, L&T, Oswal, Ebro Armaturen, BDK are a few to name. The Ministry of Industry and Mines (Govt of Gujarat, India) is supporting the show and have a booth during he show to explain the numerous opportunities for investments at the World’ 3rd Fastest Growing city*- Ahmedabad and at the most lucrative state in India- Gujarat. (* Forbes magazine has rated Ahmedabad as the World’s 3rd fastest growing city)
