Garden Irrigation – A New Pump Control for Domestic Water Supply Pumps
Zuwa domestic water supply systems are handy little helpers for garden irrigation. A robust centrifugal pump takes water from wells, creeks or rain water basins on demand.

Now these pumps can be combined with the new electronic pump control Vigilec, starting the pump automatically when the tap is opened and stopping it when the tap is closed.
The control cares for constant pressure in the water supply and prevents the pump from running dry. The new model is easy to handle and offers a number of useful protective functions - integrated level control, dry run, lightning, overload and underload protection. The device avoids the pump from getting stuck after longer out of order periods by starting the pump shortly in a 24 hour interval.
Depending on the model pumps achieve a flow rate of 110 litres per minute. Zuwa domestic water supply systems can prime water from a depth of 8 metres. Maximum pressure is about six bar and is sufficient to operate one or more lawn sprinklers. A pressure gauge displays the pressure.
It is recommended to position the system in a weatherproof area. The unit is simple to set up and requires hardly any maintenance. They work almost noiseless. The pump body is made of cast iron or stainless steel, the top quality brass impeller warrants for a very long live time of the pump.
