Hamilton Sundstrand Acquires Spain-Based Marelli Pumps
Hamilton Sundstrand, a subsidiary of United Technologies Corp., has acquired privately held Marelli Pumps, a leader in the design and manufacture of heavy duty centrifugal pumps. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Marelli, based in Illescas, Toledo, Spain, supplies a wide range of centrifugal pumps for customers in the oil, petrochemical, chemical, industrial process, water and firefighting industries. It has approximately €30 million in annual sales and operates in Spain, Southern Europe and the Middle East. It will become part of Sundyne, one of Hamilton Sundstrand s three industrial companies.

"This acquisition expands the oil and gas product offering to our customers and provides opportunities to expand Marelli geographically."
The Hamilton Sundstrand Industrial division includes Milton Roy, Sundyne and Sullair.
