Moyno to Exhibit Latest Wastewater Treatment Innovations

08.08.2006

Moyno will exhibit its complete line of water and wastewater products, featuring the field proven Moyno 2000 HS System and the latest innovations to the Moyno Annihilator grinders, at the WEFTEC show October 21-25 in Dallas at booth #5050.

Moyno to Exhibit Latest Wastewater Treatment Innovations

The Moyno® Annihilator™ grinders are twin shaft solids reduction units designed to ensure that harsh solids in the primary sludge stream are ground uniformly and efficiently. Moyno Annihilator grinders provide trouble-free performance in a variety of industrial and municipal applications, protecting downstream equipment from being plugged or damaged from large solids, reducing expensive repairs.

The Annihilator grinder offers optimized cutter combinations, one-piece flange housing and a quick change cutter cartridge. Moyno has added a new technology advancement to the Moyno Annihilator grinders. To avoid costly downtime and expensive, unnecessary repairs resulting from complete bearing/seal cartridge designs found on other twin shaft grinders, Moyno Annihilators now provide the mechanical seal and the bearing on separate stainless steel sleeves. This exclusive design allows for quick on-site replacement of worn components without purchasing complete cartridge designs.

The company will also showcase the Moyno® 2000 HS System, which features an integral hopper with a twin-screw auger feeder and specially designed progressing cavity pump that efficiently handles high solids, dewatered municipal sludge to over 50 percent solids. The Moyno 2000 HS system is a significant technology advancement for the wastewater treatment industry. It can pump filter cake further distances with higher volumetric efficiencies than any other progressing cavity pump. Its twin screw feeder supplies a constant, pressurized feed rate to the pump resulting in a 100 percent pump cavity fill rate.
