Organizational Changes at SKF
Erik Nelander, currently Managing Director, SKF Sverige AB and Manufacturing Cluster Manager, Self Aligning Bearings, Industrial Division, has been appointed Director, SKF Aerospace Business Unit as from 1 April 2006.
In this position he will report to Henrik Lange, Industrial Division President, and will remain based in Gothenburg.
Kaj Thorén, with current responsibility for the aerospace business, will continue his previously announced integration support to the Industrial and Automotive Divisions, as well as specific Group project work until his retirement later this year.
Carl Orstadius, at present Industrial Division Business Controller, has been appointed Managing Director, SKF Sverige AB and Manufacturing Cluster Manager in succession to Erik Nelander. Carl Orstadius will take up his new appointment on 1 April 2006 reporting to Jean-Pierre Riot, Director Manufacturing & Supply, Industrial Division. Carl Orstadius, aged 44, started at SKF in 1989 and has held a number of executive positions, mainly outside Sweden.
