Liquid Pumps Focus 2015

18.10.2005

The global market for liquid pumps is projected to increase from 21.5 US$ bn in 2005 to 28.3 US$ bn in 2015. This is a result of a new multi-client market report, which will be released end of November by the OneStone Consulting Group in cooperation with German pump expert company SIM Senior Industry Managers Dr. Wittekindt & Partner.

According to project manager Dr. Joe Harder not the general growth is important and not the market size, which is measured without parts, spares and services, but the growth of the different market segments.

“Our focus is on the structural market changes and how pump manufactures can act on that. We have made a detailed segmentation of the market with many new results and interrelationships, which up to now have only been available to an exclusive number of TOP supplies”, stated the project manager. OneStone Consulting clearly outlines what is included in the market figures and also gives figures for what is excluded. Such an example is the service market, which alone accounts for 12.7 US$ bn, when the turnover of pump manufacturers and service providers is added.

The market report consists of 5 separate parts. Part 1 is a summary of the most interesting findings. Part 2 gives a market segmentation by world regions, major pump types, industries and markets with a forecasts to 2010 and 2015. Part 3 gives a more detailed segmentation of pump types and the substitution and future growth. Part 4 details the end-user industries, market changes and buying behaviour. Part 5 is focussed on the pump manufacturers with a TOP 100 list and the major strategies.

Liquid Pumps Focus 2015 is intended for the TOP management, business planning and investor relations of pump manufactures and pump users. It is unique because of the comprehensive contents and the form of presentation, which combines easy to understand findings and more than 300 ready to use charts and tables with a total of about 450 pages. The price for all 5 parts is € 4250.

However, a circular economy also requires the right political guidelines – and there is still a huge gap here.

Wilo is a Partner of Wasserstoff-Hanse

11.08.2021 -

In the fight against climate change, it is important to explore new ways. However, sometimes part of the solution can be found in existing collaborations. This is the thinking behind “Wasserstoff-Hanse” [Hanseatic Hydrogen], an initiative of the German federal state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and the EUREF Energy Innovation (EEI), which was launched in Rostock on 5 August in the presence of prominent businesspeople and politicians.
