International Sales Meeting on Geothermal Heat Pumps
ECR Technologies, Inc. will host its first international sales meeting on September 30 and October 1, 2005 in Lakeland, Florida. Scheduled to attend are independent representative organizations from throughout the US and Canada.
The two-day session to be held at the conference center of Lakeland Linder Regional airport, will inform ECR’s cadre of sales representatives regarding new products and applications of the EarthLinked® geothermal heat pump product line.
Keynote speaker for the event will be Mr. Jack DiEnna, Key Accounts Director of the Geothermal Heat Pump Consortium in Washington, DC. Other featured speakers include industry experts on hydronic radiant heating, HVAC sales and marketing, and geothermal drilling equipment.
Established in 1980, ECR Technologies manufactures Direct GeoExchange heating and cooling systems for the residential and light commercial HVAC market. The units known to the industry as DX or direct exchange, feature heavy-duty copper tubes, buried below the surface of the earth to capture heat in the winter and provide cooling in summer. When circulated through these copper pipes or earth loops, a non-toxic refrigerant transfers the heat energy to and from the earth. The process of moving heat rather than generating heat, allows the system to operate very efficiently, even when the outdoor temperatures are extreme. Savings of 40% to 75% are commonplace.
