8900 Multi-Parameter now with BTU

13.06.2005

George Fischer Signet proudly announces the introduction of the 8900 Multi-Parameter, Multi-Channel, Multi-Language Controller now with a BTU calculator. It is important to note that there is no increase in price for this added feature.

This new BTU feature is designed to measure the energy and power consumption in a heat transfer sytem. Any of the following calculations can be done simultaneously:

one heating and one cooling, two heating or two cooling. Programmable density and heat capacity parameters are offered to increase the measurement’s accuracy.

This added capability enables the 8900 Multi-Parameter to suit an even longer list of applications.

  • General Heat Transfer Systems
  • Commercial Office Tenant Billing
  • Central Plant
  • Monitoring
  • Performance/Efficiency Evaluations
  • HVAC
  • Chilled Water
  • Systems
  • Hot Water Heating Systems
  • Energy Efficiency Monitoring

The 8900 already comes with a full set of features including four analog outputs, up to 8 relays, and a menu display system in English, French, German, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese. Now with the BTU calculator, the 8900 Multi-Parameter boasts added benefits:

  • Executes 2 simultaneous BTU calculations
  • Calculates and stores heating and cooling totalizers
  • Uses Power value, Flow Rate and Delta Temperature values to source 4 to 20mA or relay outputs
  • Use Power value in Advanced Relay Mode
  • Programmable heat capacity and density
  • 9 selectable heating/cooling totalizer units
  • 6 selectable power units
