Flowserve Names Fehlman Treasurer

Flowserve named Paul W. Fehlman treasurer. He had been serving as interim treasurer.

Fehlman, 41, has 15 years of global corporate finance and treasury experience, including cash management, banking relations, risk management, public and private debt issuance and international finance. He joined Flowserve in 2000 and has served as assistant treasurer and director of financial services.

Before joining Flowserve, Fehlman served for three years as treasurer and assistant treasurer for Global Industrial Technologies Inc., a Dallas-based multi-national manufacturing company. Prior to that, he worked for American Airlines for seven years, where he held a number of senior financial positions, including principle-corporate finance and manager-international banking.

"Paul has broad experience in treasury operations and has considerable functional expertise," said Chief Financial Officer Mark A. Blinn. "In addition, through his tenure as an integral part of Flowserve's finance team, he understands the key drivers of our business. These attributes will enable him to effectively direct all treasury activities consistent with Flowserve's strategic direction. His proven abilities in finance, treasury and banking relations, and his manufacturing industry knowledge and collaborative business approach will be key strengths as Flowserve continues to enhance its finance organization."

Fehlman holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from California Polytechnic State University and a master's degree in business administration from Cornell University.
