Simple to install and to use, ADC has optional voltage and serial outputs for data acquisition and / or control functions.

ADC is designed for use with BOC Edwards Active Pirani, Wide Range, Magnetron and Strain Gauges. Its simple Œplug and go¹ installation makes it ideal for integration into OEM equipment, such as vacuum ovens and furnaces, and for monitoring process vacuum in a wide range of laboratory and industrial end-user applications.

Units - Pascals, mbar, Torr or Volts - are selected by the user via simple front-panel push-button controls, and the bright LED display gives clear, long distance readability. ADC¹s measurement range is 2000 to 1x10-9 mbar.

In its standard version, ADC is a simple display unit. For applications that require data logging or control functionality, the Active Digital Controller Enhanced has two set point relays, two analogue outputs and an RS232 interface. These can be used to connect directly to a chart recorder or other logging device for customer records or quality control, for direct control of switches or other instruments, or for connection into a higher level control system such as a programmable logic controller (PLC) or PC-based control system.

Housed in a neat 1/8 DIN enclosure, ADC can be panel-mounted or bench-mounted. It complements the existing BOC Edwards range, giving customers a wide choice of analogue and digital displays and controllers for all applications.

Chlorine Gas Systems: New Electric Safety Valve Makes the System Safer

13.12.2024 -

Chlorine gas plays a key role in the disinfection of drinking and industrial water. However, handling the chemical can pose considerable health risks – from irritation of the eyes to fatal pulmonary oedema. To further improve occupational safety during use, Lutz-Jesco has developed the VakuStop – a vacuum regulator for dosing systems that is equipped with an emergency stop function to prevent uncontrolled chlorine gas leaks directly at the chlorine gas tank in the event of an emergency.
