Flowserve Names Jojo Chief Information Officer

Flowserve Corp. today named Linda P. Jojo vice president and chief information officer. She will have responsibility for all aspects of the information systems organization, including infrastructure, security, data center operations, architecture and applications development.

Jojo also will lead the information technology plans and implementation for Flowserve's three divisions.

Jojo, 39, has 17 years of experience in information systems, including ERP implementations, rationalization of legacy systems, business process alignment, and improving efficiency of back office operations. Prior to joining Flowserve, she was employed by General Electric for 13 years, holding a number of I.T. leadership and manager positions. Jojo most recently served as chief information officer for GE Silicones, where she was responsible for the global I.T. strategy and operations of the $1.8 billion division, which was recently recognized by Computerworld Magazine with the 2003 "21st Century Achievement Award" in the manufacturing sector for its use of I.T. She also previously worked for Digital Equipment Corp. and Genesys Consulting Services.

Scott Greer, Flowserve's chairman, president and chief executive officer. "She brings the combination of large-company experience, change management and performance improvement required to drive Flowserve to the next level of excellence."

Jojo holds a bachelor's degree in computer science and a master's degree in industrial engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
