Wyatt International Marketing Agency of Record

04.05.2004

Flowserve Corp. announced Wyatt International, headquartered in Birmingham, England, as its agency of record to lead the company’s brand re-launch.

Wyatt International will lead the strategy to distinguish Flowserve as a “branded house” that leverages the multitude of heritage product lines the company acquired from its activities as an industry consolidator over the past seven years.

“Flowserve is building its marketing strategy to be aligned with supporting our customer’s efforts to achieve their financial and operational objectives,” said John Jacko, Flowserve’s vice president of Marketing and Communications. “Our branding strategy must communicate and reinforce Flowserve’s strengths and capabilities around the world as well as our local availability near customer operations.”

Jacko added that Wyatt would help to further develop the company’s core brand strategy, and then implement that strategy through a launch of new branding elements in the

second half of 2004. Wyatt will also simultaneously lead the consolidation of the advertising

and marketing communication agency fees spent across the company, he said.

With a greater proportion of its business coming from outside the United States, Flowserve needed an experienced international partner with past success developing coordinated global campaigns as well as partnering with the company’s existing local agencies.

Commenting on its appointment by Flowserve, Wyatt International Chairman and CEO Brian Barrett said, “We are delighted to have been selected by Flowserve as its global brand marketing partner.

“This is a very exciting opportunity to work with an international corporation dedicated to building brand equity in all world markets by aligning brand values to customer needs” he continued. “Flowserve’s global objectives fit our experience and international competencies perfectly and we are much looking forward to rising to the challenges ahead.”
