S.A. Armstrong Ltd. Honoured Again as one of Canada’s Top 50 Best Managed Companies
S.A. Armstrong Ltd., a global supplier of fluid flow equipment for residential, commercial and industrial applications, is pleased to announce that the company has re-qualified as a winner in Canada's 50 Best Managed Companies Program for the second consecutive year.
Sponsored by Deloitte and Touche, CIBC and the National Post , the 50 Best award is a national program, recognizing Canadian companies that have executed world-class business practices and created value in innovative ways. During the last decade, the value of the award has grown beyond recognition alone and has become a tool to drive new business, attract top talent, and increase overall revenue and growth.
In order to make the 50 Best list, companies must pass an extensive and in-depth interview process that assesses and examines management practices. An independent judging panel also evaluates how each company embraces new technology and globalization, as well as how it recognizes the significance of leadership, strategy, culture, and brand.
"We've connected the values of our people to the organization and wrapped the company around the customer. We found our company delivered better service when the customer was put at the center of all our decisions," says Charles A. Armstrong, President of the company.
Key traits that the 2003 50 Best companies share include: a continued ability to remain observant and responsive to changes in the market and consumer demands, a passion to create the right leadership and vision, and a commitment to invest in the hiring and retaining of the most talented employees, while re-qualifying companies share an outstanding commitment to stay at the leading edge of innovation and to continue growth.
Parallel to this, S.A. Armstrong invested in sophisticated fulfillment, collaboration and knowledge-sharing software systems which make it possible for customers to co-design products built for them.
Armstrong is a leading global supplier of quality HVAC and Fluid Flow equipment for residential, commercial and industrial applications. Established in 1934, the company maintains six manufacturing facilities on two continents.
