Wilo AG Merges its Three Plant Manufacturers

The Wilo Group brought together its top management for the 29th time at the International Meeting of General Managers (IMGM). This year’s management conference, which took place at the recently inaugurated Networking Cube at the Wilopark in Dortmund, focussed on the multinational technology group’s overarching, Group-wide sustainability strategy and expanding Wilo’s successful region-for-region strategy.

Lee Tebbatt, Managing Director of Wilo UK has been announced as the new President of the British Pump Manufacturers Association (BPMA), following a two-year tenure in the role of Vice President. The position was officially passed on during the BPMA’s Annual General Meeting and follows the two-year term in office by the previous President, Dale Croker, Managing Director of KSB UK.

The Wilo Group is taking the next step in implementing its region-for-region strategy. With a historic transformation, the multinational technology group is responding to new geo-economic realities, reducing its level of complexity and increasing its efficiency.

During a press conference held at Fiserv Forum, the Wilo Group and the Milwaukee Bucks announced a comprehensive partnership. The multinational technology group will become the first global sustainability partner of the NBA basketball team. The two partners are now planning joint sustainability projects and initiatives.

Wilo’s Smart Factory at the Group headquarters in Dortmund has won the most prestigious manufacturing award in the German-speaking world: Factory of the Year 2024. The cutting-edge plant at the Wilopark is setting standards in industrial manufacturing.

The circular economy initiative Circular Valley invited renowned participants from business and politics to a summit on the topic of water at the Wilopark. The Wilo Group provided the appropriate setting for the discussions by hosting the water and sustainability experts at the new market partner meeting centre, the Networking Cube.
