Peristaltic pumps have multiple advantages compared to centrifugal pumps. The basis of the pump is a hose, which is the only part in contact with the medium and gland water is not needed. Peristaltic pumps have self-priming features in suction-lift duties and positive displacement function. The installation of the pump is easy and there is no risk of cavitation. A peristaltic pump is very gentle to the pumped medium and does not stir or shear it. There is an exact flow per revolution, which makes the pump excellent for dosing duties. Peristaltic pumps are capable of handling the heaviest, most abrasive and aggressive slurries in mining and process industries as well as high viscosity fluids in hygienic and foodstuff applications.

LPP widens the application range and cuts maintenance costs

LPP pump is a new innovation in the world of peristaltic pumps. LPP saves energy and produces economic value in production and cost efficiency by reducing maintenance and upkeep costs. With LPP even 60% reduction in operating costs can be achieved.

LPP has a completely new operating principle since the hose is compressed only once per revolution. The advanced adjustment mechanism senses hose wear and the risk of over-compression is minimized. These features give LPP a longer hose life ever. The unique hose fixing system with reliable flanges at both ends of the hose enables secure and fast replacement of the hose. The clever operating principle of the pump also allows it to operate continuously at high speeds and high flows without overheating. LPP can be easily installed in-line, because of the smart construction of the pump. The high flow capacity of LPP makes smaller pump size possible and the pump requires less space compared to the conventional peristaltic pumps. It also lowers spare part costs and lubrication needs.

LPP can pump virtually anything and it widens the application range even further. It is a perfect replacement for centrifugal units in mining and chemical industries where seals and glands cause dilution or leakage problems. Expensive centrifugal pumping stages can be replaced by one LPP pump with high-pressure capability in slurry pumping.

Currently the LPP pump family consists of three sizes DN 25, DN 40 and DN 65 for working pressure max. 10 bar with flow capacities up to 20 m³/h. LPP is also available with a sophisticated control unit including pressure safe limit, hose leak detector, frequency controller, emergency switch, fuses, revolution counter and manual or remote speed control.
