IDEX Corporation Appoints Michael Schneider As President Of Liquid Controls, Inc.

NORTHBROOK, Ill., April 3 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- IDEX Corporation (NYSE: IEX) today announced that Michael Schneider has been named president of Liquid Controls. Schneider, 38, succeeds Frederick G. Wacker III, who has decided to leave the company for personal reasons.

In his new position, Schneider will report to Rodney L. Usher, vice president - group executive for the pump businesses.

Commenting on the leadership change, Usher said, "Mike has held a variety of progressively responsible positions in the finance area during his eight years with Liquid Controls and has extensive experience prior to that at Ernst & Young. He knows the business and marketplace well, and his skills and experience, combined with the solid management team in place, will help Liquid Controls to continue to build on the strong position it currently enjoys.

Schneider holds an undergraduate degree in accounting from Loyola University and a master's degree in business administration from Northwestern University.
