Wilo-Interactive 2002 With New Planning Software From VSX – VOGEL SOFTWARE

Wilo-Select Classic enables the user to quickly and accurately select the perfect pump or pump system from among a variety of product configurations. A unique accessories administration function allows parts-exact selection of the available accessory parts depending on the pump configuration and the desired type of installation or control.

The software package was developed by VSX – VOGEL SOFTWARE, Europe’s leading supplier for Windows and Web-based pump layout systems. Wilo-Select 3.0 is a custom-tailored special development based on the standard Spaix software. The solution is designed specifically for the product structure of the pump manufacturer. The breadth of the product range, which in addition to individual pumps also included pressure boosting, waste water pumping and rainwater utilization systems, as well as unique new products in the field of high-efficiency and energy-saving pumps, place high demands on the functional variety of the software. The focus of the development was on providing customers and employees of Wilo with an easy-to-use instrument for efficient planning and layout.

With increasing energy cost and depreciation time calculations, the software reflects the increased significance of life-cycle costs. This function turns the program package into an indispensable tool for anyone seeking not just the technically best solution, but also the more cost-effective approach.

The automatic Internet update function, the integrated project editing and the graphical data sheet editor represent additional highlights. Comprehensive interfaces in standard formats, such as GAEB 1990 & 2000, Datanorm 4.0, VDI 3805, VDMA 24278 and CEF enable efficient data exchange with other systems. The integration of CAD information with DXF export, the product quick search by part name or article number as well as the expansion of the contents to include catalog data and user’s manuals round out the program.
