New Electric Submersible Pumps for Waste Water: RH 150

Gentle and low-pulsation dosing of aggressive chemicals without pressure peaks and with minimized dead time. This is made possible by MEMDOS SMART, a new type of stepper motor dosing pump that Lutz-Jesco will be presenting at Achema 2024, the world’s leading trade fair for the process industry. The Industry 4.0-compatible dosing pump can be operated as easily and reliably as a smartphone via its full-colour touch display.

A new type of laser-based immersion probe, which the Fraunhofer Institute for Laser Technology ILT in Aachen is testing as part of BMBF- and EU-funded projects with industrial partners and users, could pave the way for continuous inline monitoring of water treatment processes in wastewater treatment plants.

With its new patented seal system for filling needle and filling pipe systems, valve producer GEMÜ has brought to market the first ever adaptation option for filling needles that ensures hermetic separation between the actuator and medium. This means that any lift effect and contamination of the medium can be avoided.

At IFAT, Vogelsang GmbH & Co. KG will be showing the conical HiCone progressive cavity pump for use in wastewater treatment plants and pump stations. Additionally, a 3D model of a small, compact version of the HiCone will be on display.

Vogelsang recently launched a new line of positive displacement pumps that was designed specifically around the typical requirements of industrial pumping applications, including those of the oil and gas market.

In recent years, the composition of wastewater has changed considerably, and pumping of untreated raw wastewater has become more and more challenging. Pump hydraulics which were used in the past without any problems and with satisfactory results, are becoming clogged more and more often.
