Next Generation of ROBUSTA™ Pumps from ABS

11.10.2001

Ready for immediate use and designed for pumping clear and waste water in house, garden or yard applications, the next generation of ROBUSTA™ pumps incorporates the same practical and reliable features that have been associated with the ROBUSTA™ pumps for many years.

The ROBUSTA™ is supplied with built-in level control-swich and checkvalve to prevent backflow when the pump is switched off, and has a unique hand/auto switch that allows the pumps to be operated in manual or automatic mode. An integrated float swich allows the pump to be operated in small sumps. The pump and motor section form a pressure-tight encapsulated unit, with the motor housing constructed from corrosion resistant material. The outer jacket and impeller are made from durable plastics. The pumps are designed for operation in an ambient medium temperature of 40*C and for intermittent usage at higher temperatures. The motor is dynamically balanced with temperature monitor in the stator, which swiches off the pump in the case of overload.
