Three Good Reasons to Choose Wilo Salmson Pumps

30.08.2001

Designed for use in locations where easy access to the soil pipe is not possible, Wilo Salmson has added three new products to its range of domestic sewage and water waste systems, the Wilo-Opti-Box KH, Wilo-Opti-Box TMP and Wilo-Opti-Box TMH.

Intended to ease the confusion often associated with complicated ranges of sewage and waste water products, Wilo Salmson has drawn on 70 years experience and expertise to produce a range designed to simplify the specification of domestic sewage and waste water systems.

The new range has been manufactured with ease of installation in mind as well as aesthetics. All three units can be connected to standard drainage pipes, making it possible to fit them in locations where easy access to the soil pipe is usually denied or impossible; while the hi-gloss finish and sculptured shape of the KH and TMP models allows them to fit harmoniously and unobtrusively into any domestic setting.

The fully self-contained Wilo-Opti-Box KH is suitable for the disposal of both water and waste, with an easily accessible sieve basket and macerator offering trouble-free maintenance. Ideal for use in bathrooms, WCs and even basements, the system incorporates a submersible pump specially designed for low noise operation, plus an integrated vent with an active carbon filter to eliminate unpleasant odours. The unit has a single 100mm pan connection with sealing sleeve, and two 40mm inlet ports.

The Wilo-Opti-Box TMP is a floor mounted mini waste water collecting and lifting unit. While this unit is ideal for installation in a kitchen or utility room allowing for disposal of waste water from showers, hand basins, washing machines and dish washers, shower connection can be made 110mm above floor level. As with the KH model, the Wilo-Opti-Box TMP has two 40mm inlet ports and is fitted with submersible pump and active carbon filter.

A discreet in-floor solution for the disposal of waste water from showers and basins comes in the shape of the Wilo-Opti-Box TMH. The TMH is a packaged lifting station suitable for any of the Wilo TM 30 submersible pump range, and is ideal for protecting floors against flooding in basements and cellars, as well as driveways and sunken gardens. The unit is available with two 100 or 70mm inlet ports.

Chlorine Gas Systems: New Electric Safety Valve Makes the System Safer

13.12.2024 -

Chlorine gas plays a key role in the disinfection of drinking and industrial water. However, handling the chemical can pose considerable health risks – from irritation of the eyes to fatal pulmonary oedema. To further improve occupational safety during use, Lutz-Jesco has developed the VakuStop – a vacuum regulator for dosing systems that is equipped with an emergency stop function to prevent uncontrolled chlorine gas leaks directly at the chlorine gas tank in the event of an emergency.
