The times of dark, stuffy storage cellars are long past. In many single and two family dwellings, the basement storey is used as additional living space. Not only for parties, DIY and ironing: some house owners use this area to fulfil their dreams of a fitness room with sauna, or guest room with separate shower and toilet. But sewage disposal is frequently a problem here. When sanitary facilities are installed in the basement underneath the anti-flooding level, the sewage cannot be drained into the sewerage system using the natural gradient, it has to be pumped. This is where the modern sewage lifting system DrainLift S by Wilo comes in. Thanks to its slender dimensions and variable installation, it can find a niche for itself everywhere, leaving full scope for room design.

The compact device is only 30 cm deep and ideal also for retrofitting in the basement. It can be integrated easily in a conventional surface-mounted installation system, or mounted in a neighbouring room with a break through the wall. If necessary, shower, bath, basin or washing machine can also be connected up as well as just the toilet.

The simply installed system in fact conceals extremely clever technology. The focal element is a highly efficient, modern design stainless steel motor which ensures that dirty water and sewage is pumped quickly and quietly through a pressure pipe to the next sewage pipe. In spite of its small size, DrainLift S fulfils the tough demands made of a full sewage lifting system as per DIN 1986. Now that you have solved the disposal problems, you can adjust the basement of your house to changing living needs over the years with individual designs and arrangements.
