Stainless steel version of Ultromat® polymer batching and metering systems for organic flocculent designed as 3-chamber, 2-chamber, batch systems Type AT 1000/96 with integrated Spectra metering pump.

With the aim of complying with user requirements, ProMinent has now included in its product range a stainless steel version of the Ultromat® series polyelectrolyte batching and metering system for organic flocculent. These are automatically operating 3-chamber and 2-chamber batching installations as well as a system for batch operation which permits flocculent to be used in powder or liquid form.

With this stainless steel variant, ProMinent has extended the Ultromat® series made of PP to enable applications where the user required stainless steel systems.

Ultromat® installations can be equipped with the new Spectra eccentric screw pump for metering polymer solutions. These installations operate reliably as their stator is made of Viton® while, at the same time, an effective rotary mechanical seal ensures maintenance requirements are kept to a minimum. They can also be used for metering polymer solutions containing oil. The delivery rates are between 1.5 and 5100 l/h at backpressures of 3 bar.

ProMinent® Spectra pumps are offered in two versions: With manual adjustment or with frequency converter. The motors of the pump for frequency converter mode are equipped with PTC thermistor sensors which can be connected to a frequency converter for the purpose of avoiding motor overload.

Ultromat® systems have an extensive scope of applications. They are used wherever it is necessary to efficiently separate colloidal solids from liquids.

The preferred fields of application for these systems include: Drinking water and industrial water treatment, waste water and slurry treatment as well as the paper manufacturing industry, sand and gravel treatment, brine treatment and ore enrichment.

The systems are assembled ready for operation and, depending on the type of system, are equipped with a compact control for the essential functions.
