KSB at ACHEMA 2000

22.05.2000

KSB's key pump topic at the Achema 2000 is "Life Cycle Cost Reduction". The features focused on are improved efficiency and increased reliability of the new sealless pumps.

The new Secochem pump which is now also available with explosion protection to ATEX 100a combines the well-proven hydraulics of the manufacturer's standardised chemical pumps with a canned motor. The Multimagno multi-stage mag-drive pump is designed for total heads of up to 150 m and flow rates of up to 30 m³/h. It is used for applications where the single-stage pump sets usually employed have to be run at an unfavourable duty point. The newly developed pump's efficiency ranges well above that of the single-stage models. The valves presentation focuses on the new Nori? 500 high-pressure valve suitable for use in power stations as well as industrial and process engineering plants. Also on show will be control valves with pneumatic part-turn actuators compatible with field bus systems. A comprehensive diaphragm valve range for the biotech industry and the completed ANSI range round off the valves exhibition. In the plant engineering corner, KSB shows that plant process control and monitoring with intelligent pumps and valves help to save energy and facilitate cost-cutting preventive maintenance. As to KSB Service, stand visitors are informed about the company's competence as service partner providing maintenance and repair not only for KSB products, but also for other makes.
