Dechema and Hanover Fairs Sulamerica join forces for the organization of TeQ 2016, the international trade show for process industry suppliers. The event is scheduled for November 8-10, 2016 at Riocentro in Rio de Janeiro and covers all sectors of the chemical value chain ranging from Laboratory Equipment, Chemical & Biotechnological Processing, Pharma & Food Processing, Plant Components, Packaging, Storage & Logistics, Measurement, Control & Automation and Research & Innovation
Bringing together Dechema’s industry expertise and network of experts in the chemical industries as well as the bioeconomy and HFSA’s long-standing experience in the organization of trade shows and strong relations in the Brazilian market, TeQ 2016 is expected to significantly promote international cooperation and projects. In a challenging economic environment, the Brazilian chemical industry has set clear goals for strategic development and diversification, capitalizing on the country’s broad range of resources and the already existing strong sectors such as cosmetics or agrochemicals. A special emphasis is put on the bioeconomy: Brazil has a decade-long experience in biomass processing and the production of platform chemicals from renewable resources and is set on exploring the potential of its biodiversity to create sustainable and innovative new sectors. There is also strong interest in water technologies, sustainable generation and efficient use of energy and automation technologies.
