ProMinent was awarded the innovation award 2007 of the German "Initiative Mittelstand" (Initiative Mid-Sized Companies) in the category "mechanical engineering" for the development of the metering pump delta® with the optoDrive® controlled solenoid drive.

The award was presented on the occasion of the Hannover Fair of the Initiative Mittelstand. The industry innovation award of the Initiative Mittelstand is awarded to companies which present the most innovative products for medium-sized businesses. The innovation award does not focus on the companies but rather on their products which are characterised by a particularly high benefit and a high level of functionality. An independent jury consisting of technical industry editors and editors of the Initiative Mittelstand, PresseBox® and it-MEDIEN test the products and award the prizes. This year, more than 300 companies in 20 categories ran for the coveted award. ProMinent was awarded the innovation award Industry 2007 in the category "mechanical engineering". The jury selected the solenoid metering pump delta® with controlled solenoid drive optoDrive® as one of the three most innovative and interesting solutions for medium-sized businesses.
