PS Middle East 2005 Shaping Up in Bahrain

The inaugural staging of PS Middle East (PSME) 2005 is set to take off on a modest yet significant start at Bahrain International Exhibition Centre (BIEC), Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain, from 14 to 16 November 2005.

Realising Bahrain is among the top economies in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) nations and its position as a Regional Hub for Technology and Supply to the Oil, Gas and Petroleum Sector and Water and Waste Community, the organiser, HQ Link Pte Ltd is taking its most established and successful PS show series in Asia to debut in Bahrain.

Ms Dilys Yong Mee Hiong, Group President of HQ Link said, “We see a lot of potential in Bahrain and we are very excited to be the first Asian exhibitions organiser to be setting up an international exhibition here.”

In this inaugural staging, companies from China, the Czech Republic, India, Malaysia, Singapore and the United Arab Emirates have already taken this opportunity to use PSME 2005 as a vehicle to enter the Middle East market.

PSME 2005 – The International Exhibition on Fluid, Air & Gas Handling Systems Incorporating Fluid Power and Control Systems & Instrumentation will comprise five inter-related profiles, namely, Pumps & Systems, Valves & Piping, Compressors & Systems, Fluid Power and Control & Instrumentation.

Held concurrently will be Chemtec Middle East 2005 - the Premier International Exhibition showcasing products, services and new technology that the Chemical Processing industry has to offer, while Envirotec Middle East 2005 - the Premier International Exhibition on Pollution Control & Environmental Management Technology will stage and exhibit on issues pertaining to air pollution and waste control management.

In support of HQ Link’s venture into the Middle Eastern market, Bahrain Convention & Exhibition Bureau and the Ministry of Oil, Kingdom of Bahrain have also offered their support as the Support Organiser for PSME 2005. In addition, many organisations have rendered their support to PSME 2005, making it a well accredited launching platform for many companies.
