By the end of 2005, the KSB Group will equip four 600 MW units of a power station near Beijing with state-of-the-art pump technology.

The contract of around € 3 million covers twelve glandless boiler recirculation pumps type LUVAc. The pump sets are driven by an integrated wet rotor motor with a voltage of 10000 each. The input power per pump is about 400 KW, with operating temperatures ranging at 365° C and discharge pressures at 220 bar.

According to the company's information, KSB was awarded the contract because they were the company that could produce the largest number of reference installations using high-voltage submersible motors worldwide.
