Hamilton Sundstrand, a subsidiary of United Technologies Corp., has acquired privately held Marelli Pumps, a leader in the design and manufacture of heavy duty centrifugal pumps. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
United Technologies’ Hamilton Sundstrand announced it has agreed to acquire Haskel International Inc., a manufacturer of pneumatically driven, high-pressure pumps and valves for industrial businesses. Financial terms were not disclosed. The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals.

effective February 14, 2001. Sylvain Bazin, General Manager of the Sundyne Europe
operations based in Dijon, France, will succeed Mr. Duley in the PDG role.
